According to “Qafqazinfo,” a signing ceremony was held on April 29, 2025, between the club president Şərəf Yalçın and the team’s coaches and players.

During a press conference, Şərəf Yalçın stated that the club is not only starting a new season but also entering a new era with a strong and ambitious lineup:
 “In the 2025 season, our goal is not just success in local competitions, but also to make our name known internationally. We have strengthened our squad with members of the national team and elite players with European experience. With this team, we believe DH Volley will be one of the strongest contenders for the championship. Our main vision is to add value to Azerbaijani volleyball in the short term and, in the long run, turn DH Volley into a respected and recognized brand competing in Europe.”

He also expressed his gratitude to the President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, Şahin Baghirov, for his support during the formation of the club.

The head coach of “DH Volley” is professional volleyball player Farid Jalalov, who has won numerous awards. The team includes professional female volleyball players such as team captain Aynur Imanova, Katerina Jidkova, Jeyran Imanova, Nilufar Agazade, and Raziya Aliyeva.

“Azərlotereya” JSC supports a wide range of initiatives aimed at promoting youth engagement in sports and healthy lifestyles, supporting sports clubs, and fostering the development of various sports disciplines. The aim is to popularize sports across the country and support the growth of professional sports in football, basketball, and volleyball. The company’s “Misli” brand signed a cooperation agreement with the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation in 2024 to support the development of volleyball. The creation of the “DH Volley” club is part of this growing partnership.
